All five of the temperaments, the Melancholy, the Sanguine, the Phlegmatic, the Choleric and the Supine…look at the term “impossible” differently. To the Melancholy the possibility exists to do the impossible, but they need time to build up self-confidence, the Choleric doesn’t need time, all they need to do is begin and they will complete the task. The Phlegmatic doesn’t have the energy to begin such a journey so they won’t try. The Supine needs to follow the leader so they probably won’t know where to begin unless they are “following”, and finally…the Sanguine will have a difficult time concentrating to finish the project. So which temperament is most likely to “do the impossible”? 1 The Melancholy because they are more genius prone than any other of the 5 temperaments and the Choleric because they have the will power to “push the project through” as long as they have a crew to use.
