“Success has many paths”…this is a quote that I have penned many times, although I’m not sure if it is a Doc original or not. One thing that I have experienced is that when we are reaching new heights in our lives, it’s rarely if ever a “fun” time. It is a time filled with doubts, fears and worry…it’s simply not a comfortable time in one’s life. The biggest enemy is fear…fear is doubt in one’s abilities and God’s promises. Sir Francis Bacon coined the phrase in his work “of Tribute” which he wrote in the early 1600’s. The exact quote is, “Nothing is to be feared but fear itself.”. I think he was onto something here…but I don’t fear fear…I attack fear and will not allow it to be a part of my vocabulary. If your mind is so filled with positive things that you have no room for anything else, then fear is forced out. I’m not saying it won’t try to come back, but what I am saying is that it will not be able so speak into your life like it once did.
Forcing fear out of your life will allow you to “press on into your goals like never before. I know it won’t be comfortable, but successful people are very familiar with the feeling of being uncomfortable…it simply means that they are reaching new heights in their lives. Knowing what your Temperament is will be the key to knowing just how you process this information. Call The Penewit Center and let us help you reach your goals.
