Kindness is a commodity that seems to be in short supply these days, especially in churches. I think the reason that kindness is in such short supply is because of the pain that most everyone carries…that they won’t or can’t let go of. Kindness is a trust issue with people, because they fear rejection and more pain if they “let their guard down” and show kindness. Each temperament deals with rejection issues differently, but learning how to deal with and silence this voice inside of you permanently is possible, all you need to do is learn how.
