Fatherhood isn’t easy, at times one wonders why we took this trip to begin with. But fatherhood is that which builds in children that which they will draw upon the rest of their lives and beyond. Being a father is something that happens when two people have a baby. It is a natural biological occurrence that takes place, but all too often it stops there…and it shouldn’t.
Being a “Daddy” is something different altogether. We think of a Dad coaching his son to play baseball or football as a child…perhaps dreaming of them being the next great ball player, or teaching their daughter to sing or dance. Inputting into your children with your heart is what makes a daddy. Where most men have difficulties is trying to motivate their child to grow in an area that they are not “wired” ‘to grow into. Playing sports or dancing are areas that some Temperaments can thrive in, where others cannot. Knowing your child’s temperaments will provide memories that will serve well throughout all their lives.
