All to often we ignore the fact that answered prayer is more than we give it credit for. Answered prayer brings joy and hope…and satan knows that. Whether you believe in satan or not…he knows you, and his plan is to keep you as unproductive as possible. Unforgiveness, strife and day-to-day difficulties will rob you of your answered prayer. But unanswered prayer has a more insidious effect than that…it will actually rob you of your hope. Once hope is gone then you will tend to love in defeat like it is “the norm”. You can stop this spiral and get your joy back…knowing how God wove you to be is a perfect place to start.
