Weight, so hard to lose but why? Part 3 Tuesday 1/10/2012
I realize that weight problems are difficult to live with. It seems as if your entire life is a tangled mess and no matter how hard you try, you can’t untangle it. Then you have to brave the world by going to work every day wondering what people think. It can be a horrifying process to some who have lived out their lives overweight. Untangling the “why” of excess weight starts with the choices that you are making where food is concerned. No one ever goes on a vegetable eating binge, they reach for foods that will change the way they feel, and these foods are never good for you. There are reasons for the choices that we make, and foods are a product of attempting to meet “temperament needs“. Temperament needs will be met by us one way or the other. There is noting that we can do to stop ourselves from meeting our temperament needs, so we must learn what they are so that we can meet them in a positive way and not a negative way. So the question bears repeating “Why are you choosing the food that you are eating”? the answer…you are attempting to meet your temperament needs.
