Weight, so hard to loose but why? Part 3 Monday Edition
Yesterday we talked about comfort foods, so today I want to talk a bit about why comfort foods are so easy to get hold of. I also want to talk about what they do to us when we eat them. I think there is a good reason they are called “comfort foods” don’t you? I think that when we eat these comfort foods it has a certain effect on us. I’m not just talking about the effect they have on our bodies, I’m not just talking about the fact that we have hunger pangs and we eat. We are hungry so we do eat, but not just because we haven’t had a sufficient amount of food, but I think that there is a deeper underlying reason for this, and so we turn to comfort foods. Comfort foods are never good for us like fruits or vegetables are, they are usually fatty salty foods like ice cream, cheese, meats, cakes, pies, cookies, candy and chocolate. The list goes on and on, these are what comfort foods are and they have a specific effect on our body chemicals. This is the key…and we are going to get into this tomorrow on Dr Penewit’s Tuesday edition.
