Input determines output
>I remember a mentor saying to me…”what you put into this is what yo will get out of it”. I never forgot it and have studied it for many years..and yet, there are times that I must admit that I haven’t learned the importance of this premise. Lets look at what Jesus taught his disciples about this subject:
Mark 4;24And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you–and more [besides] will be given to you who hear. Amplified Bible
Jesus told his disciples that “The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you–and more [besides] will be given to you who hear”. He was teaching them to watch their time…to be careful to guard what goes into their ears, what they think about and meditate on. I must admit that I was convicted about a few TV shows that I like to watch in the evenings. If we want to see a set thing happen in our lives, what we think about and meditate on can be a make or break situation…think on positive uplifting things and not on a “dreaded outcome” stay the course and feed on positive uplifting things that build your faith…the result will be good.
