REJECTION Why so painful?

Rejection is the #1 complaint that I deal with when I work with people. So the question “REJECTION Why so painful?” needs to be answered. Rejection brings anxiety and pain that seems to hold onto your emotions day and night. The pain can go so deep that at times you may wonder if life is worth living.

When we look at rejection we have to understand where it comes from to begin with.  Almost every form of rejection that I work with starts in childhood.  But most people don’t realize that rejection can actually start where you are still in your mother’s womb!  A mother that didn’t really want a child decided not to get an abortion feels regret because she made a mistake and got pregnant.  The baby will actually feel at rejection from the mother and it will affect that child for the rest of their life if they don’t seek help and deal with that spirit of rejection.

Rejection is a spirit

To be able to deal with rejection and game victory over it in one’s life they need to understand where rejection comes from.  Believe it or not, rejection is a spirit and it is not a good spirit but in the evil one.  As I said before, rejection is a spirit and rejection does not come from God!

So how is it that rejection is so powerful?  And how is it that rejection can affect us so easily? The spirit of rejection knows exactly when the best time to attack an individual is. When is that time?  It is when the person is most defenseless and it happens before the individual is born and especially during infancy.

I refer to rejection as a “three headed monster.” In addition to the spirit of rejection there will be a fear of rejection spirit, and a self rejection spirit.  We can always tell an individual who is suffering from rejection because that individual finds it very difficult or impossible to receive the love or to give love to others.

Because this individual has been rejected as a child they become fearful of close relationships through which they could experience further rejection.  When this happens the door is opened for fear of rejection and we must note that self rejection is close behind.  When an individual has been rejected all of their lives by the people that are closest to them they will begin to reject themselves as well.
