The next weapon God has given us is “Fasting”. It increases our prayer power.
When fasting, it clears out our soul and emotions, so we can hear God’s instructions more clearly.
Mark 9:29 And He said to them, “This kind cannot come out by anything but prayer.” So fasting and prayer brings the victory over the tactics of our enemy, satan.
There are different kinds of fast. One is to restrict certain or all food, we tell our body what we will eat and when. We are putting our flesh under submission. The reason for this is so we can hear the instruction the Lord gives us. There are voices coming at us from everywhere. So when we fast and pray at the same time, we are able to cut out all those voices.
