Joy the Offensive Weapon!

Many of you are weary and feeling depressed. It could be because your marriage is falling apart at the seams or your child (ren) walking in a path of destruction. Maybe you are in debt so deep you can’t see your way out. Whatever it is you are going through, I have good news for you. There IS a way out!!! The Joy of the Lord is our strength! You may say, I don’t have anything to be joyful about. Did you wake up this morning? There are many of you saying, ‘Yes, but I would rather not have’. I understand feeling like that, but here is a word of the Lord to you, Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
satan has us so wrapped up in our emotions that we can’t see anything else. I want you to step outside of what’s going on, and see that the Joy of the Lord is your ‘strength’!! He has already provided a way out for you. Give whatever it is to Him and begin to rejoice that He is bringing you OUT and into a good life. Psalm 126:1-2 1 When the Lord brought back the captive ones of Zion, We were like those who dream. 2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter And our tongue with joyful shouting; Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” Shout for Joy even though you are going through a trial or pain, Laugh even though you don’t feel like it! And watch what happens. Psalm 37:12-13 12 The wicked plots against the righteous And gnashes at him with his teeth. 13 The Lord laughs at him, For He sees his day is coming.
satan can’t stand it when we allow the Joy of the Lord to be our strength. I pray for you right now, that the Joy of the Lord begin to move through you and His strength become like a shield around you! Father, I thank you even now that whatever those reading this may be going through, are seeing you move on their behalf because they chose to lay aside the problems and begin to praise you for the answer, in Jesus name, Amen
